If you are interested in staying in the park you can check the National Park website for information on the lodges and cabins within the park. But note most of these do book up a year in advance – and internet/cell signal can be very limited.

West Yellowstone also has restaurants, hotels, attractions, and gift shops so it is a good home base during your trip.

Island Park, Idaho

Island Park is about 30 minutes from the West Yellowstone entrance. It is a beautiful area where you can see the Grand Tetons and definitely less busy compared to West Yellowstone.
